Holy Ghost Lois Lane! Stop the Presses! GM Ted Thompson signed unrestricted free agent LB Brandon Chillar. The Packers got much needed depth at LB and a good backup LB.

Meanwhile the legendary Packer Q Favre is retired along with his number 4. I hope fans got the special SI tribute issue about the Favre era. It's a great tribute to the retired Favre whose retirement showed more class than the "pink" commentary who tried to question its humanity. The Packers will dearly miss him, but it will not sink in until the first half of the 2008 season. He was truly a great authentic hero, one in a million, that appears in sports history during a millennium.
